By using a gentle touch to palpate the synarthrodial joints of the cranium, the client’s spine and pelvic bones, this therapy can help your over-active nervous system to re-set itself so you can experience greater rest, peace, and wholeness.
Trauma and the daily stresses of life can cause imbalances and taxation within our Autonomic Nervous System and our bodies continually run in a fight, flight or frozen states. This therapy helps to slow things down, create a deep relaxation and support balancing and self-repair the connection to our body.
During your session, we honor the current needs of your body and mind by activating the most relaxed state of the nervous system, the parasympathetic (rest and digest) system. Through integrating breath work, prone yoga postures, and soothing rhythmic massage we support you in freeing your breath, releasing tension and establishing ease in your body. During the session we incorporating breath-work, Aromatherapy, energy work, Thai Massage Therapy, Yoga Therapy, and Marma therapy. These techniques all support you in entering a deep state of relaxation.
While in a session clients are fully clothed and sessions are offered on a massage table, Thai massage mat and can be accommodated on another surface if mobility for the client is difficult.
