Virtual Campfire Social Event: The Body

Thursday, Jun 26th 2025 | 12–1:30PM EST / 5–6:30PM GMT | Online via Zoom

A Community Discussion on the Body

Embodiment — the experience of having a body — is universal, yet how we think and feel about our bodies is deeply personal. In this community discussion on the body, we’ll explore societal narratives, inherited beliefs, and paths to self-acceptance.

What does it mean to have a ‘good body’?

How much of our body image is shaped by family, culture, or media?

When is it empowering to change our bodies — and when is it a surrender to external pressures?

What does it take to cultivate ease in the skin we’re in?

Join us for candid conversations about inheritance, perception, and reclaiming agency over our embodied selves.

What to expect:

Once a month, we bring together this community for a night of thought-provoking “virtual campfire” conversations about the most tender aspects of the human experience.

At each event, we offer a ‘menu’ of conversation questions designed to catalyze lively discussions between strangers. Each conversation menu has three rounds of questions, and in each round, you’ll have an opportunity to connect with small groups to discuss the prompts. These events are a great way to meet new people and explore fresh perspectives on mental health and the human experience.
