Craniosacral therapy uses a gentle touch to palpate the synarthrodial joints of the cranium, the client’s spine and pelvic bones. Trauma and the daily stresses of life can cause imbalances and taxation within our Autonomic Nervous System and our bodies continually run in a fight, flight or frozen states. This therapy helps to slow things down, create a deep relaxation and support balancing and self-repair the connection to our body.

“Mindfulness” is a focus of attention on what is happening in the present moment. MBSR is a technique that supports the addition of calming the client’s mind and body while holding space to recognize emotion and any connected physical responses to stress. This awareness creates the opportunity to invite a new pattern, including removing judgment, the need to act immediately creating an opportunity to respond to stress in a way that is supportive of the client’s needs.
